همه چیز به پروسه تولید برمیگردد جایی که طلا و یا پلاتین ذوب شده و به محصول نهایی تبدیل میشود.محصول پس از خروج از قالب ریختگری و طی مراحل خاص به مرحله بسابکاری وارد میشود جایی که زائده هایی که بر روی محصول وجود دارد با استفاده از ابزارآلات مخصوص به این کار از بین برده میشود که این کار باعث میشود درصدی از وزن محصول کم شود.
در یکی از مراحل آماده سازی،محصول جهت شکل دهی نهایی و حذف تمامی زوائد باقی مانده به مرحله پرداخت وارد میشود که در این مرحله نیز برای جلای هر چه بیشتر با استفاده از دستگاه مخصوص بخشی از سطح کار صیقل داده میشود و همین امر نیز باعث میشود که وزن محصول کاهش یابد
این توضیحات بر اختلاف وزن بین دو محصول یکسان اما با وزن طلای متفاوت دلالت دارد
